SUN Xiushun, Pr\u00e9sident du Conseil d\u2019Administration de WCS, M. Fadi WAZNI, Pr\u00e9sident du Conseil d\u2019Administration de la SMB, et Mme LU Xiaohui, CEO de WCS.<\/p>\n<p>En Novembre 2019, le Consortium SMB-WINNING, form\u00e9 par le singapourien Winning International Group, le groupe Shandong Weiqiao de Chine, et la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 UMS, a remport\u00e9 l\u2019appel d\u2019offre pour les Blocs 1 et 2 du gisement de fer de Simandou. En 2020, la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Winning Consortium Simandou (WCS) et le Gouvernement Guin\u00e9en ont proc\u00e9d\u00e9 \u00e0 la signature des Conventions de base, ferroviaire et portuaire avec l\u2019approbation de l\u2019Assembl\u00e9e Nationale. Depuis la signature des trois conventions, WCS a d\u00e9marr\u00e9 l\u2019exploration g\u00e9ologique de la mine, la pr\u00e9paration de la construction des infrastructures portuaires et ferroviaires, les \u00e9tudes d\u2019impact environnemental et social pour l\u2019ensemble du projet, ainsi que d\u2019autres travaux pr\u00e9liminaires dans le respect des standards internationaux pour lesquels WCS s\u2019est engag\u00e9 au c\u00f4t\u00e9 du Gouvernement de la R\u00e9publique de Guin\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p>Le lancement de la construction de la phase initiale du Tunnel de Kindia dans la Pr\u00e9fecture de Kindia marque le d\u00e9but officiel de la construction du chemin de fer du projet Simandou par le Consortium, et annonce la premi\u00e8re \u00e9tape de plus grand projet minier actuellement au monde. Le tunnel de Kindia s\u2019\u00e9tend sur une longueur d\u2019environ 11,6 km au total. Simultan\u00e9ment, la construction du Tunnel de Mamou est aussi d\u00e9marr\u00e9e, dont la longueur totale est environ 9km. Ces deux tunnels constituent les projets de contr\u00f4le importants pour le chemin de fer de Simandou.
